Do you want one of the most comprehensive books on dieting and weight loss? If you haven’t read the book The 4-Hour Body by Timothy Ferriss, you really need to buy it for your bookshelf. This massive guide is 567 pages long.

Ferriss is the entrepreneur and author who also wrote the books The 4-Hour Workweek and The 4-Hour Chef, both best sellers. One thing that I like about the The 4-Hour Body book is the fact that all information is backed up by very extensive detail. In addition, the author provides numerous real life examples (including himself).

Probably the most important sections are the ones called Subtracting Fat and Adding Muscle. This first chapter in the Subtracting Fat section is The Slow Carb Diet I: How to Lose 20 Pounds in 30 Days. Only five simple steps! The author said that it is even OK to splurge one day a week. Eat anything you want! Check it out on page 75.
