After all, getting a skinny body at the expense of your health is something no one wants. It can lead to all sorts of health issues, both now and later, decrease your metabolism and convince your body to hold onto its fat reserves as if you were in a state of starvation. This will make weight loss difficult in the future.

Ensuring that you are getting enough of the vitamins A, C, K, E, D, and the full spread of B complex vitamins is the best start you can make. The best way to obtain all the nutrients you need is, of course, in the form of whole foods—whole, fresh fruit and vegetables, unprocessed grains, healthy fats, and meat in sparing portions—but if you feel the need for additional supplements because these foods are not available to you, always look for liquid or sublingual nutrients first. Your body absorbs them most efficiently. Compressed pills tend to pass through your digestive system largely untouched. Also, adding a healthy amount of insoluble fiber to your diet will help you process food efficiently, ultimately. That means less of your consumed nutrients will be stored as fat.

A healthy body weight is a good goal for everyone to set. The key is balance, and you can maintain that balance by eating right and taking the appropriate nutritional supplements.

  1. Hi there. I’m going to give you a politically ircnroect answer, but I really believe it’s the truth. If you have 60 pounds to lose, then I would not bother taking muscle building supplements. With that amount of weight to lose, you need to focus on losing the bodyfat. I would recommend you forget about muscle supplements until you’ve got down to a relatively low level of bodyfat. Then and only then should you really address the issue of muscle. I’m not saying you should waste away or anything, but what i’m saying is the body prefers to be doing one thing at a time be it losing fat, or gaining muscle. It is an extremely difficult task to do both at the same time. So, go drop the fat first, then your next project will be the muscle thing. Good luck, and keep me posted ~ ANDREW
